Amaranth Roslyn Ehrenhalt (1928-2021) was a highly regarded American painter, sculptor, and writer. She spent most of her career living and working in Paris, France, before returning to New York City. Ehrenhalt is recognized as one of the few abstract expressionists from the New York School during the 1950s.
