Walter Spitzer ( 1927 -2021) was a Polish-born French artist and painter. “After the Six-Day War, I began to paint my Jewish years. This gradually led me to the Bible. And soon I was working very hard to paint thousands upon thousands of Jews in my pictures. Because I am giving them back their life.”
