Joaquín Ferrer (1928-2022) was a Cuban artist, painter, and designer. Born in Manzanilla, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Havana. Ferrer is known for his association with the lyrical abstraction movement. In 1958, he restored and installed a Roman mosaic at the Museo Nacional in Havana and founded an engraving school.
