Contains 20 original engraving  in aquatints in colors on Rives BFK paper by Alexander Calder on  the full sheets with accompanying text by Erskine Caldwell, all loose as issued and contained in two original blue linen covered portfolios size 46 x 41 cm. Condition Pristine.

 

Biography:Alexander Calder (1898 -1976) was born in Lawson Pennsylvania, American sculpture and artist studied in Pennsylvania academy of fine art and at the Sorbonne in Paris, famous for inventing mobile and stabile sculptures. Calder’s work is in many Museum and permanent collections across the world.
